Martial Arts Genre Targets Indonesian Market Both Online and Offline Simultaneously
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The "Jakarta On-Off Korea Product Exhibition and Consultation," jointly hosted by the Korea International Trade Association (Chairman Kim Young-joo) and COEX, opened on the 3rd at COEX in Samseong-dong and in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Now in its third year, this event provided a comprehensive online and offline marketing package program, including one-on-one online video consultations, local offline exhibitions and promotions, influencer marketing, operation of a special pavilion for TradeKorea, a B2B transaction platform, and support for entry into Shopee, Southeast Asia's largest e-commerce platform.
The video consultation held at COEX in Seoul, which runs until the 12th, featured 79 promising consumer goods companies from various regions such as Daejeon, Chungnam, Jeonbuk, Incheon, and Ulsan, representing an increase of over 70% from last year's 46 participating companies. The association manages follow-up consultations by supporting sample product shipments for consultations with a high likelihood of contract success after the first video consultation.
Locally, during the entire month of November, promotional booths for products from 76 domestic companies were set up at Lotte Mart in Jakarta and Pakuwon Mall in Surabaya, offering free testing, tasting, and other promotions while collecting consumer feedback on price and quality. At the same time, influencer marketing will be actively utilized to maximize promotional effects.
TradeKorea will operate a special pavilion for excellent Korean products until January next year, providing participating companies with product promotional photography and mini-site construction support. Shopee offers two weeks of onboarding training, six months of sales commission exemption, and company-specific advertising consulting.
