Per-Mile Auto Insurance, which charges insurance premiums postpaid based on the driving distance, recorded sales growth by surpassing 10,000 contracts in about 100 days and 20,000 contracts in 150 days since its launch on February 11. Carrot General Insurance expects to reach 100,000 contracts by the end of the year if this trend continues.
Per-Mile Auto Insurance has been evaluated by subscribers as offering reasonable premiums. Additionally, in customer satisfaction surveys directly conducted by customers, Carrot's service satisfaction rate reached 94%, positive evaluations for promptness were 96%, and the cleanliness and friendliness of the dispatch drivers scored 98.5%.
Last month, the increase in subscription contracts continued, boosted by the effect of a new advertising campaign featuring actress Shin Min-a.
Although subscriptions are only available digitally, there is a balanced distribution of subscribers across various age groups. Initially, it was expected that subscriptions would mainly come from people in their 20s and 30s who are proficient in using digital devices, but the proportion of subscribers in their 40s and 50s is about 46%, similar to that of the 20s and 30s age group.
Subscribers in their 60s also account for nearly 10%, indicating that customers are highly interested in the rationality and innovativeness of Carrot's products regardless of age group.
