The Car of the Year in the consumer experience evaluation is one of the evaluation sections of the annual automobile survey conducted every year since 2001 by Consumer Insight, a professional consumer research organization. It is characterized by selecting the best car from the consumer's perspective based on the experiences consumers have felt while purchasing and using a new car.
This survey evaluates product satisfaction (TGR) and initial quality (TGW-i) of new car buyers within one year, value for money (VFM) of new car buyers within three years, and design competitiveness for those planning to purchase within the next two years. It was conducted with 62,653 participants.
To commemorate the Car of the Year selection, Lexus Korea is holding test drive events at Lexus showrooms and test drive centers nationwide until the 30th of this month. All customers who participate in the test drive will receive a set of golf balls signed by the Lexus brand ambassador.
