View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Senior Citizens' Culture Center in Jangmi Village, Muk 2-dong, at 3 p.m. on the 30th of last month.
The ceremony, attended by Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi of Jungnang-gu and about 50 local residents, proceeded with a report on the progress of the Muk 2-dong urban regeneration project, a greeting from the mayor, a safety prayer groundbreaking, and a commemorative photo session.
The "Senior Citizens' Culture Center" is a building with one basement floor and four above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 375.71㎡, and construction is underway with the goal of completion in July next year. In particular, a senior citizens' community center will be created on the second floor to support social activities for the elderly.

Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi of Jungnang-gu said, "The groundbreaking of the Senior Citizens' Culture Center was possible thanks to the active participation of the residents of Muk 2-dong in the urban regeneration project," adding, "I hope the Senior Citizens' Culture Center will become a facility where seniors can enjoy culture and leisure."
