Contest Promoting Online Services for SME Policy Information and Non-Face-to-Face Civil Complaints Tailored to Customer Needs
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Park Young-sun, hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) announced that it will begin accepting entries for a content contest from the 2nd to widely promote 'G4B,' a non-face-to-face online service that helps easily handle administrative tasks such as business support policy information search through 'Gieop Madang' and processing changes in business names and industries. This contest will be conducted by producing promotional materials that introduce the two services to businesses and demonstrate how to use the Gieop Madang and G4B sites from the perspective of small and medium enterprises.
Entries will be accepted until the 25th of this month, and a total of 12 winners?four each in the categories of video, webtoon, and card news?will be selected and awarded a total prize of 10 million KRW. The winning works will be announced on the contest website on the 7th of next month.
The Ministry plans to expand the base of SMEs utilizing Gieop Madang and G4B through this contest and innovate the services of Gieop Madang and G4B by building a smartphone-based policy information delivery platform in the future, thereby fulfilling the role of a digital government for SMEs.

Jung Yeon-ho, Head of Statistics and Analysis Division at the Ministry, said, "Due to COVID-19, it is difficult for SMEs to visit support agencies in person, so it is important for business owners to be well aware of and utilize SME support websites," adding, "We hope for great interest and participation in this contest so that SMEs can easily check policy information and handle necessary administrative tasks through Gieop Madang and G4B."
