This event was organized to encourage firefighters who dedicate themselves to the public, and 19 fire stations from 5 fire headquarters in Seoul, Gangwon, Chungbuk, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam were selected.
The province operated the ‘Snack Truck Event’ of gratitude for two days from the 28th to the 30th targeting the Gimhae Dongbu, Miryang, Hadong, and Tongyeong fire stations, which had outstanding efforts for large-scale fires, typhoons, and disaster victim recovery this year, boosting the morale of the staff and relieving stress from field activities.
The event was conducted through providing snacks using a mobile food truck, instant lottery drawing, souvenir presentation, and commemorative photo shooting, allowing firefighters to momentarily relieve the tension of dispatch and have time for communication and healing.
