Seoul City Opens Smart Seoul Exhibition Hall Showcasing 'Urban Administrative Services'
[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] On the 27th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government will open the doors of the 'Smart Seoul Exhibition Hall' at the Seoul City Hall Citizen Hall, showcasing cutting-edge smart city administrative services and technologies.
The theme is 'A city where citizens' lives change based on data, Seoul.' The exhibition hall is composed of four sections: ▲Collecting Seoul ▲Observing Seoul ▲Changing Citizens' Lives ▲Creating Together.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government has prepared the exhibition hall as a space where visitors can experience the smart city through 3D and Augmented Reality (AR). To enable non-face-to-face viewing, an exhibition guide is provided through the dedicated 'Smart Seoul Exhibition Hall' application.
In the first section, Collecting Seoul, the entire process of collecting, storing, and opening big data by the Seoul Metropolitan Government is displayed on a large LED screen (3m×4m). In the second section, Observing Seoul, visitors can experience the S-Map, a 3D map of the entire Seoul created using digital twin technology, on a large touch screen.
Additionally, in the third section, Changing Citizens' Lives, a virtual character experiences Seoul's smart city policies.
