Taekjin Meets Kim Jong-in... People Power Party Visits NCSoft
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Kim Taek-jin, CEO of NCSoft, will meet Kim Jong-in, Emergency Committee Chairman of the People Power Party.
According to NCSoft and the National Assembly on the 26th, Kim and members of the People Power Party's Special Committee on Future Industry and Jobs will visit NCSoft located in Pangyo Techno Valley, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow for a meeting.
CEO Kim will personally welcome Chairman Kim and the lawmakers. The meeting is expected to discuss the current status of the gaming industry and difficulties faced by the industry.
The meeting will last about an hour. NCSoft will present an introduction of the company and the current state of the gaming industry, followed by a free discussion session with the lawmakers.

Jo Myung-hee, chairman of the People Power Party's Special Committee on Future Industry and Jobs, said, "The gaming industry plays a key role in national competitiveness, accounting for 67% of the export value of Korea's entire content industry," adding, "I hope this site visit will be a meaningful opportunity to seek regulatory improvements to foster it as a future growth engine."
