'AI Experiment Application' U+ Idleulnara Campaign Video Wins Award at Busan International Advertising Festival
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Uplus's media platform exclusively for infants and children, 'U+ Aideulnara,' produced a campaign video promoting proper content viewing habits titled 'What Are Your Children Seeing and Hearing?' which won the Bronze Award at the 2020 Busan International Advertising Festival.
According to LG Uplus on the 26th, this campaign video was produced by introducing Korea's first artificial intelligence (AI) experiment. Over eight weeks, a 5-year-old child from an actual case was replicated using 3D modeling technology, and two AI children capable of conversation were implemented using AI voice synthesis technology.
The AI exposed consistently to U+ Aideulnara content used proper and creative language based on fairy tale book language, whereas the AI exposed to indiscriminate content environments conversed using adult slang.
