Public Procurement Service Announces 59 Construction Bids Including 'Yeosu Hwatae~Baekya Road Construction'

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Public Procurement Service announced on the 25th that it will hold bids for 59 construction projects worth approximately 749.8 billion KRW from the 26th to the 30th, including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Iksan Regional Land Management Office's demand for the "National Road No. 77 Yeosu Hwatae~Baekya Road Construction Project (Section 1)."
The bids will be conducted as region-restricted bids or region-mandatory joint contracts for 47 projects (80% of the total), including the Incheon Metropolitan City General Construction Headquarters' demand for the "Yeongjong~Sindo Peace Road Construction Project."
Through this, the Public Procurement Service expects that local companies will win contracts worth approximately 258.3 billion KRW (34% of the total) based on the construction payment amount.
By region, Jeonnam has the largest order volume at 416.2 billion KRW, followed by Incheon with 121.7 billion KRW, and Gyeongnam with 62.7 billion KRW. Additionally, a total of 149.2 billion KRW will be ordered in other regions.
Among the construction projects scheduled for execution this week, large-scale projects worth over 30 billion KRW account for 72% (540.4 billion KRW) of the total.
Among these, three projects including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Iksan Regional Land Management Office's demand for the "National Road No. 77 Yeosu Hwatae~Baekya Road Construction Project (worth approximately 241.1 billion KRW)" will be bid as design-build contracts, and the Seoul Metropolitan City Urban Infrastructure Headquarters' demand for the "Jamsil Bridge South End IC Connection System Improvement Project (31.1 billion KRW)" will be bid through a comprehensive evaluation bidding system.

Excluding these, the remaining projects will be executed through simplified comprehensive evaluation (27.1 billion KRW), qualification evaluation (180.8 billion KRW), and negotiated contracts (1.5 billion KRW), among others.
