Petition Criticizing Real Estate Policies and Demanding Government Operation Shift... Cheong Wa Dae "Will Supplement Policies Flexibly and Realistically"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] "We will carefully listen to the opinions conveyed through this petition and take it as an opportunity to review (national policies) once again."
The Blue House made this statement on the 23rd regarding the so-called 'Simu 7-jo Sangso-mun' petition. The Simu 7-jo Sangso-mun criticized the Moon Jae-in administration's policies on real estate, economy, diplomacy, etc., and proposed a change in the direction of national governance, with 439,611 people agreeing.
Kang Jeong-su, head of the Blue House Digital Communication Center, said in a response that day, "The Moon Jae-in administration has been making efforts to listen to not only experts in various fields but also diverse opinions from the public throughout the entire process of designing and implementing national policies, and to reflect them."

We are executing policies with consistent direction. We also listen carefully to the public's opinions on policy shortcomings or criticisms and flexibly supplement and implement policies to fit reality."
Director Kang said, "Regarding real estate policy, our government has the goal of 'thoroughly eradicating real estate speculation and strongly protecting actual demanders,' and the government is reforming the tax system to prevent short-term transactions for speculative purposes or holding multiple houses for profit, while also preparing and implementing housing supply measures for actual demanders."
