LEGO Group Launches LEGO Ideas 123 Sesame Street Set
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon]The LEGO Group announced on the 23rd that it will release the ‘LEGO Ideas 123 Sesame Street’ set.
This set was originally designed by Ivan Guerrero, a fan of Sesame Street and LEGO. Iconic locations from the show are intricately represented, including the apartment where Bert and Ernie live, Big Bird’s nest, Mr. Hooper’s store, and Oscar the Grouch’s trash can. Using specially made minifigures such as Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, Oscar, Elmo, and Cookie Monster, fans can recreate and reminisce about various episodes of Sesame Street.
The set consists of a total of 1,367 bricks, and when completed, it measures 24cm in height, with a width and depth of 35cm and 21cm respectively. It will be released on the 1st of next month through official LEGO stores both online and offline. The price is 169,900 KRW.

Meanwhile, LEGO Ideas allows anyone aged 13 or older, not just designers affiliated with the LEGO Group, to submit their own LEGO creations. After voting and review, if a design is commercialized, the creator receives 1% of the net sales revenue of the product.
