Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters Completes 'Underwater Search Special Training'
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters has completed a special underwater search training.
The Special Response Team of the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters announced on the 23rd that it conducted special training on the operation of water disaster mobility equipment and underwater search from the 12th to the 22nd to strengthen response capabilities for underwater accidents.
All members of the Special Rescue Team of the Special Response Team participated in this training held at Pyeongtaek Lake in Hyeondeok-myeon, Pyeongtaek-si. The training involved water disaster mobility equipment, underwater sonar detectors, and diving equipment.
The training was divided into theoretical education by external instructors on water disaster mobility equipment such as rescue boats and jet skis, and practical exercises on underwater sonar detectors and underwater search methods on site.
