Kyodo News, citing multiple Japanese government officials, stated that discussions are underway for Foreign Minister Wang to visit Japan and hold successive talks with senior Japanese government officials including Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide and Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu.
The timing of the visit is being considered for next month, and both China and Japan are expected to coordinate specific schedules soon, Kyodo reported. A Japanese government source explained that Foreign Minister Wang is "positive" about the visit to Japan and that "both sides will check their schedules going forward."
