View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-gyeong] The Mokpo Office of Education announced on the 21st that it held a Parent Association Representatives Network Meeting for about 50 parent association representatives from kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high schools at the Arts Wedding Convention on the 20th.
The meeting was attended by Jeonnam Provincial Council Education Committee member Lee Hyuk-je, Education Director Kim Gap-su, and parent representatives from Mokpo to listen to voices from the field.
The meeting was organized under the theme of "Creating a Happy Educational Community with Parents" to promote the autonomy of parent association participation in schools and to spread the culture of the educational community.
The attending parents presented opinions on ▲ Mokpo’s unique specialized education ▲ after-school classes ▲ student life guidance ▲ creating safe routes to and from school, among other topics.
The parent association representatives said, "We are grateful for the opportunity to have a time of communication where parents from kindergarten to high school can speak frankly," and added, "Through the Mokpo parent network activities, we will become a parent association that communicates and works together for school education and educational development."
