Donation of 2 Million Won Prize Money to Share with Neighbors
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KAMCO (Korea Asset Management Corporation) announced on the 21st that its character 'Kiwoomi,' used to communicate warmly with the public, won the 'Excellence Award' at the 3rd Our Neighborhood Character Awards hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency.
KAMCO's 'Kiwoomi' was created in 2012, embodying the guardian of the virtuous cycle of the Korean economy. At the finals of the '3rd Our Neighborhood Character Awards,' which was conducted entirely through public voting, it received a high number of votes and won the Excellence Award.
As a prize, along with a cash award of 2 million KRW, the character will receive future support including expert consulting, promotion and marketing, and product development. KAMCO plans to donate the 2 million KRW prize money this winter to share warmth with neighbors in need.
