Kibo, Drive-Thru Charity Event 'Dahamkke Chachacha'
All Proceeds Donated to Support Low-Income Children in Busan Area
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jung Yun-mo, hereinafter Kibo) announced on the 21st that it will hold a drive-thru charity event "Together ChaChaCha" with the social welfare organization Save the Children and Busan public enterprises Korea Southern Power, Busan Port Authority, and Korea Fisheries Resources Agency to spread the culture of sharing in the Busan area, which has been stagnant due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The "Together ChaChaCha" event, to be held on the 31st at the outdoor parking lot of Busan Port International Passenger Terminal, will be conducted under the slogan "Ride a car, convey a kind heart, and make kind consumption," with public institutions, non-profit organizations, and Busan citizens coming together to revitalize the depressed local economy.
On the day, vegetables, fruits, grains, and seafood will be sold in bundles at affordable prices to help social economy enterprises and farmers and fishermen in the Busan area affected by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), and any Busan citizen can participate through prior application.
All proceeds from the event will be used for low-income children in the Busan area. On the day of the event, in addition to discounted sales of agricultural and marine product bundles, various events will be held to provide souvenirs, aiming to increase the interest and participation of Busan citizens.
