Gwangju-Jeonnam Expressway Corporation Opens Seo-Hamyang Hi-Pass Only Interchange
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Seon-gang] Korea Expressway Corporation (President Kim Jin-sook) announced on the 20th that it opened the Seohamyang Hi-Pass exclusive interchange located in the Jirisan IC~Hamyang IC section of the Gwangju-Daegu Expressway (Byeonggok-myeon, Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam) from 2 p.m. on the 19th.
The interchange operates with one entrance lane toward Daegu and one exit lane toward Gwangju, and only vehicles under 4.5 tons equipped with Hi-Pass devices can enter and exit.

The Seohamyang interchange is a Hi-Pass exclusive interchange directly connected to the expressway, with a total project cost of 8.3 billion KRW. With this opening, it is expected that the accessibility to the expressway for residents and visitors to Hamyang-gun tourist sites will improve.
