The 39th Miryang Arts Festival, Hybrid of 'Online and Offline' Until November 1
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] The 39th Miryang Arts Festival will be held until the 1st of next month at Miryang Arirang Art Center and Sammun Songnim in Miryang-si, Gyeongnam.
Hosted by Miryang City and the Miryang branch of the Korea Federation of Arts and Culture Organizations, and organized by eight associations, the Miryang Arts Festival is a traditional cultural and artistic event in Miryang celebrating its 39th year this year.
The Miryang Writers' Association is holding the 'Miryang Writers' Association Poetry and Painting Exhibition' at Sammun Songnim until October 31 to announce the festival.
The Art Association is conducting an exhibition in two parts at the Art Center exhibition hall. The first part was held from October 6 to 11, and the second part will be held from the 20th to the 25th, showcasing various works including crafts, calligraphy, Korean painting, and Western painting.
Among the in-person events held at the Art Center Grand Performance Hall, on the 23rd at 7 p.m., you can enjoy the autumn night harmony with the 'Miryang Choir Festival' by the Miryang City Boys and Girls Choir and nine other choirs, along with special guest performers organized by the Music Association. On the 24th at 3 p.m., the Dance Association's performance '19 Praying Land, Miryang' is prepared.
At the Art Center Small Performance Hall, the in-person events include the Theater Association's 'Honey, I Love You' at 5 p.m. on the 25th, and on the same day at 7 p.m., the Gugak Association will present a passionate stage with 'Binaida Binaida.'

Mayor Park Il-ho of Miryang said, “We have tried to diversify performance methods to reach citizens amid COVID-19,” and added, “Based on various art platforms, we will continue to revitalize performances such as the arts festival.”
