According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 19th, Mr. A, residing in Pungam-dong, Seo-gu, and Mr. B, residing in Sanjeong-dong, Gwangsan-gu, were classified as the 501st and 502nd confirmed cases, respectively.
Mr. A was confirmed to have come into contact with the 133rd confirmed case in Jeonbuk and tested positive in a test conducted before the end of self-quarantine.
Mr. B is an overseas entrant from Russia who was immediately quarantined upon arrival in Gwangju, and according to the city, there were no contacts with other movement paths.
In the Gwangju area, a total of 502 COVID-19 confirmed cases have occurred so far, with 493 patients discharged after recovery. Currently, 6 patients are receiving treatment, and 3 have died.
A total of 156,220 people have been tested for COVID-19, and 114 are currently awaiting test results.
