73 New COVID-19 Cases, 2 Deaths Increase Total to 443 (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunbyeol Kim] The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 17th at midnight that the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) increased by 73, bringing the total to 25,108.
Among the 73 new confirmed cases, 62 were domestic infections and 11 were imported cases.
The number of new confirmed cases rose to triple digits on the 15th (110 cases), but dropped back to double digits the next day (47 cases) and has remained below 100 for two consecutive days. During the Chuseok holiday, the number of new cases this month has fluctuated around 100.
