[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (KSMB) announced on the 16th that it has signed a business agreement with Korea East-West Power to support market access for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
This business agreement was established to support the market access of SMEs struggling due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Both organizations agreed to jointly work on ▲ improving regulations to resolve difficulties faced by SMEs ▲ expanding the purchase ratio of SME products ▲ shortening contract procedures related to small-value contracts by the government and prompt payment of contract fees.
The KSMB also proposed easing the quality standards and deduction conditions related to desulfurization limestone supplied by SMEs to East-West Power.
