Additional Payment of 1 Million KRW or 500,000 KRW to Small Business Owners in Specially Affected Industries
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 15th that among small business owners in specially affected industries who received an initial payment of 1 million won before Chuseok, 49,000 people will receive an additional 1 million won and 500,000 won respectively as the difference.
On the 15th, the Ministry informed the recipients of the payment via text message and plans to deposit the corresponding amounts into the accounts of eligible recipients without any separate application process.

Additionally, for the 380,000 people eligible for rapid payment who have not yet applied, the Ministry plans to resend application guidance text messages on the 16th and also send postal notices to encourage applications.
