Last July, all proceeds from the Goguryeo-themed game launch promotion and donation deal
were used for activities to repatriate or preserve cultural assets located abroad to Korea
Auction delivered a fund for the repatriation and preservation of overseas cultural heritage to the Korean Cultural Heritage Trust on the 14th. The fund delivery ceremony held at Deoksugung Jungmyeongjeon was attended by Kim Jong-gyu, Chairman of the Cultural Heritage National Trust, Woo Kyung-jun, Executive Director, Hong Yoon-hee, Director of Communications at eBay Korea, and Lee Tae-sung, Director of Supercat, the co-developer of the game 'Baram-ui Nara: Yeon'.
Auction conducted an exclusive promotion from July 29 to August 7, donating all sales proceeds from the launch of Nexon's mobile game 'Baram-ui Nara: Yeon' to the Cultural Heritage National Trust, along with a customer participation event called 'Item 100 Won Donation Deal'.

Auction and Nexon decided to deliver the fund to the Cultural Heritage National Trust for the repatriation and preservation of cultural heritage overseas, inspired by the game's setting in the Goguryeo era. The fund will be used to bring cultural assets located abroad back to Korea or for additional preservation activities. The Cultural Heritage National Trust acquires, preserves, and manages cultural heritage of preservation value by utilizing assets and membership fees donated, bequeathed, or entrusted by citizens, companies, organizations, the government, and local governments.
