[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Jeonnam Boseong-gun announced on the 14th that the second round of applications for the ‘Small Business New Hope Fund’ through online will begin from the 16th.
The target for this small business support is small business owners who were excluded from the rapid payment before Chuseok.
Boseong-gun has strengthened administrative efforts by forming a dedicated task force to ensure smooth reception. On-site applications will be accepted from the 26th of this month to the 6th of next month at the respective eup/myeon offices. Based on the application forms, the Small Enterprise and Market Service will review and make lump-sum payments.
The ‘Small Business New Hope Fund’ provides 1 million KRW to those with annual sales under 400 million KRW whose average monthly sales in the first half of this year decreased compared to last year. For businesses under operation restrictions (1.5 million KRW) and businesses prohibited from gathering (2 million KRW), support is provided regardless of sales volume.
For closed small businesses, 500,000 KRW is provided to support employment and re-startup. Applications can be made on the Closed Business Re-challenge Encouragement Fund website.
Second-round support applications are also open for special employment workers and freelancers. The support amount ranges from 500,000 to 1.5 million KRW and applications can be made on the Special Employment and Freelancer Employment Stability Support Fund website. Those who received the first-round support can receive additional funds without review.
For households whose income decreased due to COVID-19, the ‘Emergency Livelihood Support Fund for Crisis Households’ is provided.
Applications are accepted until the 30th on the Bokjiro website and at eup/myeon offices (from the 19th). Eligible households are low-income households who lost jobs or closed/suspended businesses due to COVID-19, experienced income reduction of 25% or more, have median income below 75%, and assets below 300 million KRW.
