Especially this fall, concerns about the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and the flu epidemic have heightened interest in health, leading more consumers to seek teas brewed with ingredients that help boost immunity, such as fruits, cinnamon, and ginger. In response, the industry is launching blended teas brewed with various health ingredients. New caf? products featuring vitamin C-rich yuzu, skin-beautifying persimmon leaves, and antibacterial cinnamon have appeared.
According to the industry on the 14th, Ediya Coffee’s five types of ‘Blending Tea’ are receiving positive responses from customers. These products are characterized by harmoniously mixing various vitamin-rich fruits to create unique flavors. Recently, weekly sales increased by 25% compared to the previous week, playing a significant role in driving sales.
‘Pomegranate Apple Lime’ combines refreshing pomegranate with various fruits, flowers, and champagne scents to create a deep and rich taste. ‘Yuja Pina Colada’ features yuzu syrup with apple, pineapple, hibiscus, rosehip berries, and coconut, characterized by a sour taste and sweet aroma. ‘Grapefruit Navel Orange’ blends grapefruit syrup with orange, tangerine, rosehip, apple, and pineapple, offering a soft sourness and orange fragrance. ‘Jeju Green Tangerine Blossom,’ with the tartness of green tangerine harmonizing with apple and grape, and ‘Lemon Sweet Plum,’ combining tangy lemon syrup and sweet plum, are also popular.
An Ediya Coffee representative said, “Ediya Blending Tea is a premium product launched in response to the growth of the domestic premium tea market and has continuously received much love since its release. As the autumn weather becomes more distinct, the number of customers seeking blending tea has recently increased.”
Caffebene released three tea blending menus using domestic ingredients such as pear, apple, and persimmon leaves that evoke the feeling of autumn. The new menu is characterized by being prepared as healthy food, considering the growing interest in health and the newtro trend. The tea blending menu consists of ‘Honey Pear Persimmon Leaf Tea,’ which combines the sweet scent of honey pear and persimmon leaf tea with the flavor of domestic Korean tea; ‘Peach Earl Grey Tea,’ which adds peach pulp to Earl Grey tea for a fragrant experience; and ‘Apple Cinnamon Tea,’ a rich and aromatic blend of black tea with domestic dried apple and cinnamon sticks.
Twosome Place introduced ‘Lemongrass Ginger Tea’ as an autumn season menu that can be enjoyed warm and sweet. It blends ginger, known as a health ingredient that helps immunity, with vitamin C-rich lemon, lemongrass, hibiscus, and lemon balm to create a subtle and fragrant flavor. The red color reminiscent of autumn is decorated with yellow lemon, adding visual enjoyment.

Droptop launched four signature teas developed in-house: Victoria Ceylon Tea, Blooming Rouge Tea, Victoria Ceylon Tea Latte, and Rooibos Peach Tea. Victoria Ceylon Tea is Droptop’s signature black tea, blending natural strawberry flavor with ‘Kandy’ black tea, one of Sri Lanka’s five major black teas. Blooming Rouge Tea, offered as a signature herbal tea, blends rooibos with hibiscus, fig, pomegranate, and other sweet fruits, delivering an excellent fragrant flavor. A Droptop representative said, “As the domestic tea market gradually expands and consumers’ beverage standards rise, we reflected these trends in menu development. We plan to target consumers with menus that capture the seasonal feeling.”
