Intercity Bus Avoiding Traffic Accident Scene in Jeju Swerves onto Shoulder, Injuring 13 People
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] At around 8:47 a.m. on the 13th, a secondary accident occurred when an intercity bus trying to avoid the traffic accident scene at Suakgyo Bridge in Sinrye-ri, Namwon-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Island, veered onto the shoulder.
As a result of this accident, a total of 13 people were injured, including 1 seriously injured and 12 with minor injuries, and were transported to the hospital.
There were 20 passengers on the bus, and 15 are reported to have escaped on their own.
