[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Eight additional confirmed cases have occurred at Masterplus Hospital in Uijeongbu City, a rehabilitation specialist hospital where a cluster infection of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) took place.
On the 12th, Uijeongbu City in Gyeonggi Province announced that eight more COVID-19 cases related to Masterplus Hospital were confirmed. The additional infected individuals include five patients, one caregiver, one guardian, and one medical staff member. They tested negative in the first and second tests but were confirmed positive in the third test conducted on 61 isolated patients in the 5th-floor ward.
