Jangseong-gun 'Jangseongho Waterfront Trail' Reopens
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 12th that it will reopen local tourist attractions and resume the operation of public facilities such as cultural and sports facilities and social welfare facilities.
This measure follows the government's easing of quarantine guidelines to social distancing level 1 to support the livelihood economy due to the decrease in COVID-19 confirmed cases.
From this day, indoor and outdoor sports facilities such as Jangseongho Lakeside Trail and Work-Life Balance Dome Stadium, the county library, and the youth training center have opened. The operation of senior centers and daycare centers will resume from the 13th after prior preparation.
Various gatherings, including face-to-face activities at religious facilities, will be held in strict compliance with core quarantine rules.
Entertainment facilities such as karaoke rooms are also allowed to operate. However, wearing masks, checking body temperature before entry, keeping a visitor log, and maintaining distance from others must be observed.
Yoo Doo-seok, the mayor of Jangseong-gun, emphasized, "The easing of social distancing to level 1 grants autonomy to individuals, which means the responsibility to comply with quarantine rules is strengthened," adding, "When visiting tourist sites and facilities, masks must be worn and contact with others minimized."
