Songpa-gu Hosts SNS Drawing Contest 'Donggeurami Festival'
Park Seong-su, Songpa District Mayor, "Empowering Earth Protection through Participation in the Environment Love Drawing Contest"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Songpa-gu (Mayor Park Seong-su) announced on the 12th that the environmental love drawing contest "Donggeurami Festival," promoted by the "It's Okay Earth Movement Headquarters" and co-hosted by Songpa-gu, is currently being held.
The Donggeurami Festival is an online drawing contest under the theme "My Environmental Practices and Protecting the Future Earth Environment as Drawn by East Asian Children."
It is simultaneously held until the 20th in six East Asian countries (Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau), and children aged 5 to 13 can participate.
To participate, children draw a picture or poster on a used packaging box (waste box) illustrating their pledge to protect the Earth and environment, share it on SNS (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), and then upload the posting URL to the Naver form.
In particular, Songpa-gu Mayor Park Seong-su will join the contest with a message of "Planting 2 Million Trees along Songpa Dullegil," adding his support to the children's love for the environment.
The "It's Okay Earth Movement Headquarters," which organizes the contest, will select a total of 198 works, 33 from each country, based on judging criteria, and announce the results via SNS on October 24.
The selected children will receive certificates, Earth Guardian appointment letters, and prizes by mail, and the winning works will be published in a collection released at the end of the year and disseminated domestically and internationally.
