[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Ambassador Lee Soo-hyuk to the United States stated that the 'Alliance Dialogue' agreed to be established by the South Korea-US diplomatic authorities is not yet agreed upon for installation but is at a stage of positive consideration.
At the National Assembly Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee's audit, in response to a question about whether there was a definite agreement on the alliance dialogue during First Vice Foreign Minister Choi Jong-geon's visit to the US, the ambassador replied, "When Vice Minister Choi visited the US last time, he made a proposal, and the US agreed to positively consider it."
