Na Kyung-won: "The Democratic Party Tries to Blame Me for Crimes I Didn't Commit... A Cruel Political Revenge"
"I Won't Collapse No Matter How Hard You Step on Me"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Former Liberty Korea Party floor leader Na Kyung-won criticized on the 12th, saying, "Now even the Democratic Party of Korea's Supreme Council members are stepping forward to give the prosecution a 'Na Kyung-won investigation guideline,'" and added, "Supreme Council member Shin Dong-geun calls my self-assertion of innocence 'bluffing.' He also says the truth will soon be revealed."
On the same day, former floor leader Na said on Facebook, "Along with Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae, the prosecution is being moved to intimidate me by trying to pin crimes on me that I did not commit," and asked, "If this is not an investigation guideline, then what is it?"
Former floor leader Na pointed out, "Supreme Council member Shin has persistently harassed me both in the past and now," and said, "Last year, when the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was about to release corporate office inspection data showing no issues with the Special Olympics Korea building purchase, he threatened, asking if they were giving a 'get-out-of-jail-free card,' which led to the official press release being changed. There has never been such intimidation."
Former floor leader Na sharpened her words, saying, "This time, they are even trying to block my defense," and added, "The armband of the ruling party's Supreme Council member is so terrifying. How dreadful must be the 'day' when Supreme Council member Shin says he hopes to come quickly. I think that day might be when this administration's dream of complete prosecution control is realized."
Former floor leader Na stated, "A person who even served as a Democratic Party nomination committee member has been flooding me with accusations and complaints. And the Democratic Party has been using this to drag me into diversion tactics whenever possible," and said, "Unable to stand it any longer, I stepped forward to prove my innocence. Then the Democratic Party began to oppress me again through spokesperson comments, Supreme Council remarks, and all-around attacks."
