Yeonggwang-gun-China Delegation 'Daema Industrial Complex Investment Attraction' Meeting
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters reporter Lee Seongseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 12th that it recently held a meeting with the China-Korea Investment Promotion Chinese delegation (chief representative Wu Xiaoga) to discuss ways to promote investment attraction for the Daema Electric Vehicle Industrial Complex and support exports to China.
The delegation belongs to the "Investment Promotion Office of the Ministry of Commerce of China, Korea Branch" and is an institution that supports investment and industrial technology cooperation between Korean and Chinese companies as well as the attraction of overseas professionals, playing a role similar to Korea's KOTRA.
At the meeting, directions for corporate diagnosis and consulting support to expand exports of local companies to China were discussed, and additional exchanges with sister cities in the northern region and ways to expand human exchanges through the Korea-China Employment Permit System were explored.
The delegation visited the Daema Electric Vehicle Industrial Complex and toured the factories of LKGLSP Co., Ltd. (CEO Sangseon Lee), an automobile parts manufacturer, and Daepung EV Automobile Co., Ltd. (CEO Junseok Kim), an electric vehicle manufacturer.
They also conducted corporate consulting for entry into the Chinese market and export expansion, produced a video interview for online promotion in the COVID-19 era, which will be directly broadcast to the Chinese government next month.
Governor Kim Junsung said, "I hope that corporate investment and friendly exchanges between the two countries will continue to develop," and added, "We will continue to show interest and support for the overseas expansion of local companies."

Meanwhile, since 2009, the county has signed a letter of intent for friendly exchange and cooperation with Shaoxing County, Zhejiang Province, located in southeastern China, and has been conducting promotional and friendly exchange activities by mutually visiting events such as the Bulgapsan Sangsa Flower Festival, e-Mobility Expo, and Shaoxing County Textile Expo.
