LGU+ iPhone Subscribers Receive 15,000 Won Discount on Repair Fees
Benefit Period Extended Until March Next Year
Gradual Expansion of Target Service Centers Planned
A/S Agency Also Available at U+ Stores
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Uplus announced on the 11th that it will increase the repair cost discount to 15,000 KRW and extend the period until March next year in collaboration with the Apple authorized service center 'TUVA' to reduce the repair cost burden for its iPhone users.
Since April, LG Uplus subscribers using Apple products have received a 12,000 KRW repair cost discount at TUVA service centers regardless of the number of visits. Starting in October, the repair cost discount will be increased from 12,000 KRW to 15,000 KRW.
Customers who wish to receive the discount benefit can access the 'U+ iPhone Repair Cost Discount' event page by launching the 'U+ Customer Center' app or the 'U+ Members' app, or receive a repair cost discount coupon at LG Uplus stores and present it at the TUVA service center. However, AppleCare+ users and those requiring battery replacement or simple inspection fees are excluded from the discount.
The TUVA service centers, currently located in 15 places nationwide, will gradually expand to include areas such as Gwangju and Gunsan. If there is no TUVA service center nearby, customers can also receive the same repair cost discount benefits through A/S agency services at LG Uplus stores nationwide.
