[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] The second half recruitment of credit card companies, which was postponed due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), is resuming one after another. The scale of recruitment is similar to previous years, with a preference for talents possessing digital capabilities.
According to the industry on the 9th, KB Kookmin Card is accepting applications for the 2020 second half new employee recruitment until the 19th. This recruitment is for a total of 20 positions, including 10 general job positions and 10 IT positions. This year, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, competency tests and written exams will be conducted online. The online competency test will take place from the 23rd to the 29th, and the online written exam by job type is scheduled for November. The final successful candidates will be announced in December after the written exam, practical interviews, and other interview stages.
Samsung Card and Woori Card are already conducting recruitment procedures. Samsung Card, which started recruitment earliest among credit card companies in the second half, is recruiting new employees in five fields: ▲IT ▲Digital ▲Data Analysis ▲User Interface (UI)·User Experience (UX) ▲Sales·Marketing. Samsung Group recently announced the successful applicants for document screening and plans to conduct the written test, the Job Aptitude Test (GSAT), online over two days on the 31st of this month and the 1st of next month. Afterwards, through interviews and health checkups, they plan to hire Grade 3 new employees around December.
Woori Card, planning to hire about 30 people this year, completed document submission on the 23rd of last month and will conduct a written exam on the 10th for those who passed the document screening. Woori Card plans to actively recruit talents with digital capabilities.
Shinhan Card plans to conduct regular recruitment in the fourth quarter. Since last year, Shinhan Card has been conducting both occasional and regular recruitment separately, and in August, it conducted occasional recruitment only for digital job groups such as web service development and data science.

Hyundai Card and BC Card conducted internship recruitment that can lead to employment.
