On the 9th, Kim wrote on Facebook, "Various figures within the party, people outside the party like Jin Joong-kwon, and even Park Beom-gye are pressuring me to be 'replaced,'" adding, "It seems our party is responding to this as well, as a member of the emergency committee has announced on broadcast that they will try to understand the intent and meaning of my activities."
Kim continued, "Seeing them speak on broadcast as if targeting me, about something that could have been asked personally, reminded me of former Supreme Council member Lee Jun-seok during the Bareunmirae Party days, who reported every party division and dispute on broadcasts to earn appearance fees," and criticized, "I had a foreboding thought that they might be following the path of Bareunmirae Party and Minsaeng Party."
Regarding the 'The Moon is in Detention' banner, she claimed, "I personally spent money to put it up, and I received support and cheers from party members and lawmakers, but no one ever stopped or questioned me."
She also criticized, saying, "Is it appropriate for the main opposition party to brand anyone who raises the issue of election fraud as far-right and conspiracy theorists?"

In addition to the controversy over 'The Moon is in Detention,' she stated that she is stepping down from her position as district committee head as a protest against parts of the People Power Party's platform, including the section on 'gender sensitivity,' and said she also rejects 'identity' politics such as women's politics and youth politics.
