Gwak Sang-do Criticizes Moon Jun-yong... "Dad's Chance Ends When President Moon's Term Concludes"
Gwak Sang-do: "The Chairman of Konkuk University was summoned to the audit session at the request of a Democratic Party lawmaker" ... "I hope Moon Jun-yong does not mistakenly think of himself as a great person"
On the afternoon of the 2nd, at the plenary meeting of the National Assembly Steering Committee held at the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul, Gwak Sang-do, a member of the United Future Party, is seen questioning Noh Young-min, Chief Presidential Secretary, regarding President Moon Jae-in's farmland acquisition status.

[Asia Economy Reporter Hana Na] Kwon Sang-do, a member of the People Power Party, sharply criticized Moon Jun-yong's statement that "Kwon Sang-do is a habitual and indiscriminate abuser of authority," saying, "I warn Moon Jun-yong. Just because you are the president's son, you should not damage the honor of opposition party lawmakers with baseless claims."
On the 9th, Representative Kwon pointed out on his Facebook, "The content publicly revealed by Moon Jun-yong regarding the request for 'Moon Jun-yong's part-time lecturer evaluation materials' from the chairman of Konkuk University is misleading the facts."
He said, "We did not summon the chairman of Konkuk University to the National Assembly audit regarding Moon Jun-yong's case."
He added, "The chairman of Konkuk University was called to the audit as a witness due to the needs of Democratic Party lawmakers, and accordingly waited at the audit venue. Since he was already appearing as a witness, we only requested 'Moon Jun-yong's materials' as well." He then jabbed, "I hope he does not mistake himself for someone great."
Regarding the reason for requesting materials from the chairman of Konkuk University, he claimed, "Since the part-time lecturer law was enforced from August last year, many people lost their lecturer positions, but unlike others, Moon Jun-yong's courses increased. We wanted to verify whether this was a 'dad's chance' or the result of being evaluated as a good lecture."
He continued, "It is a matter of an opposition party lawmaker checking whether the fairness that President Moon Jae-in mentioned is properly functioning on the ground."
He also countered Moon's remark about "Kwon Sang-do's abuse of authority," saying, "The only person who habitually and indiscriminately exercises authority is President Moon, who holds the power. Among the numerous public officials who submitted materials to lawmakers, only the officials who submitted materials about the son of Moon Da-hye (President Moon Jae-in's daughter) and her husband are being singled out for disciplinary action, which is precisely an abuse of authority."

Earlier, on the 8th, Moon Jun-yong criticized on his Facebook post, "Kwon Sang-do is bad," saying, "Kwon Sang-do caused someone to be disciplined over the leakage of my nephew's academic records last time. The leakage of lecture evaluations is also illegal. As a lawmaker, he should know the law well, but perhaps not knowing what he is doing, he is just asking for it first in case he gets caught."
