WEMAKEPRICE Employees' First Exclusive Typeface Unveiled
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] WEMAKEPRICE is unveiling its first exclusive font, 'WEMAKEPRICE Font.' On the 9th, WEMAKEPRICE announced that it developed the 'WEMAKEPRICE Font' to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its service and will distribute it for free to the public. The font was designed and produced entirely by WEMAKEPRICE employees without involving professional firms.
The WEMAKEPRICE Font was created based on the formal characteristics of WEMAKEPRICE's corporate identity (CI). According to WEMAKEPRICE, it expresses an honest yet flexible impression through the harmony of rounded and angular strokes. It also reflects WEMAKEPRICE's efficient and rational nature, focused solely on customers and pricing, as well as its bright and friendly brand image.
Composed of 2,780 Korean characters, 52 English letters, and 69 numbers and symbols, the font is available in three versions: Regular (for body text), Semi Bold (for titles), and Bold (for titles). From today, the WEMAKEPRICE Font can be downloaded for free by anyone on the renewed WEMAKEPRICE homepage. It can be used for commercial purposes such as printed materials, advertisements, and online content. However, selling the font for profit, using it to create trademarks, or unauthorized modification and alteration are prohibited.
Jeon Hana, team leader of WEMAKEPRICE's Corporate Communications Team, said, "It is especially meaningful to unveil our first exclusive font born from the hands of our employees on the 10th anniversary of our service," adding, "We expect that through the WEMAKEPRICE Font, we can consistently convey WEMAKEPRICE's brand value and philosophy at every customer touchpoint."
