KOCCA opens 'Vietnam Business Center' in Hanoi... "A hub for New Hallyu"
At the opening ceremony of the Vietnam Business Center (Hanoi), which will serve as a hub for the New Southern Policy and the new Korean Wave in Southeast Asia, officials conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 8th that it has opened the 'Kocca Vietnam Business Center' in collaboration with the Korea Creative Content Agency to support the advancement and exchange of Hallyu content in the New Southern Region.
The opening ceremony held in Hanoi, Vietnam was attended by Park No-wan, Ambassador of Korea to Vietnam; Ta Quang Dong, Vice Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam; Seok Jin-young, Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam; Yoon Sang-ho, President of the Korean Association in Vietnam; and Kim Han-yong, President of the Korean Business Association in Vietnam.
At the opening ceremony, the background of establishing the Business Center, the New Southern Policy, and the vision for bilateral cooperation through New Hallyu were introduced to the local media. Additionally, a business agreement signing ceremony was held between Kocca and key local organizations to promote exchange and cooperation in various fields such as broadcasting, games, animation, and characters.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism stated that through the Vietnam Business Center, it plans to strengthen cultural and content exchange cooperation, including the co-growth of related industries, together with local institutions such as the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam.

Kim Young-jun, President of Kocca, emphasized, "With the opening of the Vietnam Business Center, we will further strengthen mutual cooperation through content with Vietnam, a key country in the New Southern Policy," adding, "Going forward, Kocca will lead the spread of New Hallyu worldwide through overseas business centers and take the lead in co-growth with related industries."
