Appointment of Inside Director at the Extraordinary General Meeting on the 8th
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Dong-woo Lee, the new CEO of Lotte Holdings, stated on the 8th, "We will improve the group's portfolio and future strategy."
CEO Lee made this remark after being appointed as an inside director at the Lotte Holdings extraordinary general meeting held at Lotte World Tower in Jamsil, Seoul, that morning.
He added, "We will create a company that shareholders want to continuously invest in and that employees are proud to work for."
CEO Lee was nominated in August by the Lotte Holdings board as the successor to former Vice Chairman and CEO Gak-gyu Hwang, and was officially appointed as an inside director at the general meeting on this day.

Lotte Holdings plans to transition to a three-CEO system consisting of Chairman Dong-bin Shin, Vice Chairman Yong-duk Song, and President Dong-woo Lee, former CEO of Lotte Himart, and will proceed with future strategies accordingly.
