Gwangju Cultural Foundation CEO 3rd Recruitment... Applications Accepted Until the 21st
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] The re-application process for the 4th CEO of the Gwangju Cultural Foundation is underway.
The Gwangju Cultural Foundation announced on the 7th that although it held two public recruitments from July to September, the Executive Recommendation Committee decided to re-open the candidate recruitment.
The re-application period started on the same day and will continue until the 21st, with a public announcement for the CEO recruitment posted and a new CEO appointment process initiated. The CEO recruitment will be conducted by a separately formed Executive Recommendation Committee through document screening and interviews, followed by a personnel hearing at the City Council and an appointment procedure by the mayor.
The CEO of the Gwangju Cultural Foundation oversees the foundation’s finances and affairs and directs and supervises the affiliated staff.
The eligibility criteria include: ▲ professional knowledge and experience related to the foundation’s projects, organizational management skills, and fundraising ability ▲ ability to lead the organization towards expanding citizens’ cultural activities ▲ understanding of the foundation’s establishment purpose and role and the ability to realize them ▲ communication skills with the government, legislature, cultural and artistic institutions and organizations. Applicants must meet at least one of these criteria, with no restrictions on education or age. The CEO’s term is three years, with the possibility of renewal annually.
Applicants can download the submission documents from the Gwangju Cultural Foundation website and the Gwangju Metropolitan City website and submit them in person or by mail by the 21st (excluding holidays).

Successful candidates in the document screening will be announced on the Gwangju Cultural Foundation website on the 28th, and the interview is scheduled for the 6th of next month.
