Dongmyeong University to Host Weekly Tuesday Laboratory Startup Activation Colloquium in October

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Dongmyung University will hold a colloquium on the theme of ‘Activation of Laboratory Startups’ every Tuesday from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM throughout October, targeting universities in the Southeast and Jeju regions.
This colloquium, organized by the Dongmyung University Laboratory Startup Innovation Group, aims to review the current status of laboratory startups among enrolled students and find ways to activate laboratory startups between universities.
Startup education and technology commercialization officials from each region will gather to start with a special lecture on startups, followed by a panel discussion on activating laboratory startups, and conclude with an introduction to the ‘Korean-style I-Corps project.’
The colloquium will begin with the Ulsan region on the 6th, followed by the Gyeongnam region on the 13th, the Busan region on the 20th, and the Jeju region on the 27th. Due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, it will be conducted via online streaming.
Director Noh Seong-yeo said, “If laboratory startups are activated, high-quality jobs will be created, contributing to new market development and innovative growth.”
