NS Home Shopping, Recruiting Small and Medium Agricultural, Fishery, and Food Companies for '2020 Home Shopping Academy' Participation
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] NS Home Shopping announced that it will conduct the ‘2020 Home Shopping Academy’ in collaboration with the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation and will recruit small and medium-sized enterprises related to agricultural and fishery food products on a first-come, first-served basis starting from the 7th.
The ‘2020 Home Shopping Academy’ is an educational program aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises engaged in agricultural and fishery food processing that wish to enter the home shopping distribution channel. The curriculum includes practical training such as ▲Home Shopping Food Sourcing ▲Home Shopping Food Launching Practices ▲Home Shopping Quality Control Evaluation and Case Studies ▲Online and Offline Distribution Status and Entry Strategies ▲Agro-food Storytelling Marketing Strategies, as well as product consultation meetings where participants can meet and directly consult with home shopping practitioners.
The training schedule runs from November 3 to November 25, with a total of 8 sessions held twice a week. Depending on the COVID-19 situation, training that requires offline visits such as field trips will be conducted using non-face-to-face video conferencing programs.
Small and medium-sized enterprises engaged in agricultural and fishery food processing wishing to participate in the ‘2020 Home Shopping Academy’ can refer to the recruitment guidelines on the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation website and the NS Home Shopping homepage and apply by the 27th. A total of 25 selected companies will receive a 50% subsidy on the participant training fees.
Since 2018, NS Home Shopping has organized instructors composed of its own practitioners for the ‘Home Shopping Academy’ training and has supported the training fees.
