Hanyang University Selected as Industrial Technology Hub Center by Electric Information and Communication Technology Research Institute

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Hanyang University announced on the 6th that its Institute of Electrical, Information and Communication Technology has been finally selected for the pilot project to foster industrial technology hub centers led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. The Institute will receive up to 12 billion KRW in government funding over seven years under the theme "Development of Industrial Intelligence Technologies for Smart Factories."
The Institute of Electrical, Information and Communication Technology will develop artificial intelligence (AI) technologies necessary for smart factory manufacturing processes such as ▲fault and anomaly diagnosis ▲logistics location estimation ▲logistics demand forecasting by collaborating with the AI Solution Center established through a donation from Dongwon Industry and utilizing the already established learning and research smart factory facilities. These AI technologies will be provided to industries.
