To this end, 63 county employees conducted focused inspections at least once daily on 126 multi-use facilities in the area, checking the status of quarantine measures such as the provision of hand sanitizers and the preparation of visitor logs, the mask-wearing status of workers and visitors, and compliance with quarantine rules at tourist attractions and amusement facilities.
In addition, a joint inspection team from Jeonnam Province and Gokseong-gun inspected 51 locations including multi-use facilities, terminals, stations, and restaurants in the area, promoting mask-wearing, social distancing, and handwashing to facility users, and distributed masks free of charge.
Furthermore, to prevent COVID-19 infections in the area, dedicated public officials were assigned one-on-one to self-quarantine subjects during the holiday period to check symptoms daily and manage them intensively to prevent unauthorized departures. The COVID-19 Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters situation room and screening clinics were also operated.
