During the Chuseok holiday period, a cluster infection of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) occurred at Buk Seoul Dream Church in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul. The Seoul city government announced that the pastor of Buk Seoul Dream Church was first confirmed positive on the 3rd, followed by three additional cases on the 4th, including another pastor and family members, bringing the total number of confirmed cases related to this cluster to four. Epidemiological investigation revealed that the church had switched to online services after the implementation of social distancing level 2, but gatherings were held to film the online services, and some attendees were found to have inadequately worn masks.
