Gwangju Buk-gu Recruiting Companies to Participate in Cyber Trade Consultation Until the 7th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 5th that it is recruiting local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in the ‘2020 Cyber Trade Consultation’ to be held next month.
The Cyber Trade Consultation, held together with the Gwangju-Jeonnam KOTRA Support Group, was organized to support the expansion of exports and the development of overseas sales channels for SMEs struggling due to COVID-19.
Buk-gu originally planned to operate an overseas market development team, but changed to an online video consultation method due to restrictions on overseas visits caused by the spread of COVID-19.
The consultation will be conducted targeting buyers from China, Southeast Asia, and Oceania (Australia, New Zealand).
Participating companies will be supported with buyer matching, sample logistics costs sent to buyers (up to 300,000 KRW), and interpretation services.
Participation is free of charge, and SMEs located in Buk-gu (headquarters or factory) can participate regardless of industry restrictions.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Buk-gu Office’s Civil Economy Division or the Gwangju-Jeonnam KOTRA Support Group, or by email, by the 7th.
For more details, please check the websites of the Buk-gu Office and the Gwangju-Jeonnam KOTRA Support Group.
