On the 5th, the Wando Maritime Police Agency announced that on the 30th of last month and the 1st of this month, they transported Mr. K (65 years old, male), a resident of Nohwado Island who complained of hypotensive shock and abdominal pain, and Mr. A (44 years old, male), a resident of Deokudo Island who showed mild paralysis symptoms after eating pufferfish. Then, on the 3rd, they safely transported Mr. B (38 years old, male), a resident of Nohwado Island who complained of abdominal pain and back pain.
According to the Wando Coast Guard, upon receiving emergency patient reports from the island area, the Coast Guard dispatched patrol vessels and coastal rescue boats, boarded the patients and their guardians, checked the patients' conditions through a remote medical system, and arrived at the nearest nearby port. Then, the waiting 119 rescue team transferred the three emergency patients to the hospital, and their lives are currently not in danger.
