National Geographic Releases TV Commercial Featuring Model Jeong Hyuk
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] The National Geographic Apparel, a total lifestyle brand operated by The Nature Holdings (CEO Youngjun Park), announced that it will release a TV commercial video featuring model Junghyuk for the fall and winter season.
The first released video, titled “Fleece Jacket - Snow Perm,” is based on the concept of “the most dramatic transformation this winter,” capturing the brand’s unique restrained sophistication and the image of its key product attractively.
In the released commercial, Junghyuk appears wearing a white faux fur in a classic and mysterious barbershop atmosphere, engages in a serious conversation with the barber, and then enters a large perm machine, arousing curiosity. The video then stylishly captures Junghyuk showing charisma while wearing a voluminous and curly fleece silhouette, as if he just finished a perm.
National Geographic Apparel named the popular product “Costoni Fleece Zip-up” as “Snow Perm,” inspired by its cozy design resembling snow and the texture of the tightly curled processed material. To emphasize the soft and curly texture of the fleece material, which is considered a seasonal trend item in this commercial, the scene cleverly depicts a transformation into a fleece jacket through a perm at a stylish barbershop.
A brand representative stated, “While fleece is gaining high popularity, we planned this to strongly convey the unique charm of the material along with National Geographic Apparel’s distinctive style. We expressed the product’s message from a fresh perspective, breaking away from the conventional seasonal advertising methods.”
