Amorepacific Launches Recruitment for Non-Face-to-Face Learning 'Pinkrun Plus'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Amorepacific (CEO Seo Kyung-bae) will begin accepting registrations for the non-face-to-face running event "Pink Run Plus," aimed at breast cancer prevention and awareness improvement, on the 10th on a first-come, first-served basis.
The representative program of the Pink Ribbon campaign, "Pink Run," which has been carried out for 20 years to improve breast cancer awareness, has been changed this year to the non-face-to-face running format "Pink Run Plus" considering the safety of participants due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Pink Run Plus is divided into a registration mission and a main mission. For the registration mission, participants must run at least 3km using the "RunDay" app and then verify it on their Instagram from the 10th to the 14th. When certifying the registration mission, the RunDay app screenshot must include the running date, time, distance, and hashtags (#PinkRunPlus #2020PinkRun #PinkRibbonCampaign).
Among those who complete the registration mission, 500 participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis and will have the opportunity to apply for the main mission through the Pink Run homepage from 10:00 AM on the 16th to 6:00 PM on the 18th.
The main mission requires participants to freely run or bike for at least 3km during the 10-day period from October 26 to November 4 and verify the distance measurement app screen on their Instagram. When certifying the main mission, participants must include a photo wearing the Pink Run T-shirt and hashtags (#PinkRunPlus #2020PinkRun #PinkRibbonCampaign).
Participants in the main mission will receive a sports T-shirt with the Pink Run logo and a pink droplet mask designed considering COVID-19 daily quarantine guidelines. Additionally, participants can gift Pink Run T-shirts to up to four acquaintances besides themselves, sharing the good cause of the Pink Ribbon campaign.
Those who complete the Pink Run Plus main mission will be awarded a congratulatory medal for campaign participation and exercise completion, along with Hera sunscreen, a Nike hip sack, and socks.
The participation fee of 10,000 KRW per person will be fully donated through the Korea Breast Health Foundation to support surgery and treatment costs for low-income breast cancer patients.
